“My father has already left. Can I have a lift home, please.” Ruby looked down at the concrete.

Jade looked at the younger blonde as guilt and sorrow filled her.

“Fine.” Jade opened her door and slid in.

Ruby ran around the other side of the car and got in. This was the first time she had got into Jade's car and it smelt of the beautiful blonde. Ruby settled into the seat as the smell of lemons and Jade's perfume filled her senses. She smiled and closed her eyes. The teen instantly almost dosed off since she didn't get much sleep last night. The reason Ruby didn't get much sleep, was because she was worried about Jade. She was worried that if she woke up in the middle of the night, that Jade would be gone and hurt herself again. Ruby couldn't let that happen, so she spent most of the night curled up on the couch, stroking Jade's hair as the older woman slept soundly.
